Obama at a NYC dinner last night said, "Contrary to the rumors you have heard, I was not born in a manger. I was actually born on Krypton and sent here by my father, Jor-el, to save the planet Earth," a reference to Superman."

The McCain campaign has finally admitted that this election is about change.

Their new ad uses what news organizations are calling "naked lies" to reinvent two politicians whose records embody the same culture of corruption and far-right policies we've seen from the Bush administration.

The biggest whopper in the ad (that's still being repeated day after day by McCain and Palin on the campaign trail) is that Governor Palin stopped the infamous "Bridge to Nowhere" -- in fact, she supported it, and even hired a lobbyist in Washington to get more pork-barrel projects like it.

If the McCain-Palin campaign wants to have a debate about who is prepared to bring the change we need, we're more than ready.

We are getting some local press here and the word is getting out about the Captain Obama bobblehead.

After I read the article I just wanted give shout outs to a few companies.

First and foremost - Funko Toys who gave us the opportunity to do an exclusive toy with them.

The article also showed images for other Obama products that we sell in the shop such as the Obama Action Figure made by Jailbreak Toys and the Super Obama Tshirt made by Graffitti Designs and art work by Alex Ross.

I just wanted to give props to these people since the news cast didn't mention their companies. Nor did they even give ImagineGate.com a link. Thats all.

NBC local news here in San Diego stopped by our office to do a full interview for the Captain Obama Toy.

Rudy Gonzalez of CaptainObama.com is an Obama supporter. He said he wanted to create a positive likeness of the candidate. He plans to donate $1 of the $14.99 selling price.

"He's the most popular thing that we're selling right now," Gonzalez said.

The Bay Park resident started taking orders at ComicCon and told NBC 7/39 that he has about 250 pre-orders.

"It's something that we're really proud to carry and we're really excited about and it's just fun," Gonzalez said. "He's a community organizer by day, and he fights crooked businessmen and crooked politicians at night -- so he's always watching over there on Capitol Hill."

There are also plenty of Sen. John McCain bobble-heads available on various other Web sites. In fact, you can find bobble-heads for sale of most the candidates from both parties who participated in the primaries, including Hillary Clinton.

Political writer Scott Lewis of our online media partner VoiceOfSanDiego.org, said that the caricatures of political candidates are actually a reflection of something they take very seriously and spend millions on: image.

"It's a race to label people, it's a race to understand them, and if they can do it with humor, then they win," says Lewis.

Here at ImagineGate Toys, we have teamed up with Funko to develop the first Barack Obama Superhero toy named, "Captain Obama". We were at Comic Con San Diego today promoting the Captain Obama toy and we were happily surprised to see artwork from the amazing artist Alex Ross depicting Obama ripping off his shirt transforming into a superhero. When our team first saw the illustration today at Comic Con, we were surprised but absolutely delighted that in some strange way Alex Ross' art and our new toy have kind of crossed paths. To set the record straight, Alex Ross is not affiliated with our company nor are we affiliated with his company at all. We had no idea until today that he was pro-Obama and was working on such a piece. Also, I am almost certain that Mr. Ross has no idea who we are, since we are a very small company. We were just happy and proud to see such a high profile artist depicting beautiful work on the same idea we have had about Obama. That he is America's superhero!
